Yard Debris & Light Demo

Yard Debris Removal & Light Demo in Erie, CO & the Front Range

Branches, clippings, old sheds, broken fences, and light teardown — yard cleanup generates a pile you can't fit in a trash can. We load it all, haul it off, and handle the green waste and demo material the right way.

What We Take

Branches, Clippings, Sheds & Fences

We handle yard waste removal, brush removal, landscaping debris removal, shed removal, fence removal, and deck removal. We haul tree branches, shrub and hedge clippings, leaves, sod, dirt, rocks, old fencing, shed teardown material, and deck boards. If you've torn it down, we'll haul it off.

Light demolition is part of the job — we'll tear down an old shed, pull up fence posts, or dismantle a small deck so you don't have to do it yourself. Just point at what needs to go.

Green waste goes to composting facilities where available, and lumber and demo material go to the right recycling or disposal site. Upfront pricing based on the load, quoted before we start.

Pricing & Scheduling

How Yard Debris & Light Demo Pricing Works

Yard Debris jobs are quoted before we lift anything, and the number you hear is the number you pay. There's no obligation to book, no hidden fees added later, and no charge for the quote itself.

  • Photos get you the fastest price — text a picture of the pile and we'll send back a firm quote, usually within minutes.
  • Pricing is based on how much space the load takes up in the truck, how heavy it is, and how easy it is to get to.
  • Same-day yard debris pickups are often available. Calls and texts are answered 24/7, and windows are booked from 8 AM to 6 PM.
  • We do all the loading and carrying — nothing has to be moved to the curb or the driveway first.
  • Payment comes after the job, once you're happy with the work: cash, card, Venmo, or Zelle.
  • Donations and recycling come first, with only true trash going to the landfill.

Before We Arrive

Getting Ready for Your Yard Debris & Light Demo Pickup

You don't need to move anything — just point us at it. A few minutes of prep on your end makes the visit quicker and keeps the price where we quoted it.

  • Clear a path to the items if you can. If you can't, don't worry about it — we'll figure out the route when we arrive.
  • Collect the load in one spot when possible. One pile is faster than four, and it keeps the truck organized.
  • Empty drawers, fridges, and cabinets. Food, liquids, and loose items are easier for us to handle separately.
  • Mention access when you book — stairs, side gates, a locked fence, or a dog in the yard all change how we approach the job.

Then sit back. We do the lifting, the loading, and the cleanup, and we confirm the price before we start. If the load is bigger than the photo suggested, we'll tell you what changed and let you decide — we don't add fees after the fact.

Mixed loads are normal. Yard Debris is our standard work, but a fridge, a couch, and a pile of boxes in the same trip is business as usual. Bundling items into one haul almost always beats paying for separate pickups.

Not sure whether we can take something? Ask. yard debris pickups regularly include items people assume are impossible — old hot tubs, tube TVs, mattresses, and shed debris. Hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, tires, asbestos, and car batteries can't be hauled, and we'll tell you that before we book rather than after we arrive.

Before You Book

Storm Damage, Spring Cleanup and Old Fences

Yard debris piles up in two ways: gradually, over a season of pruning and raking, or all at once after a Front Range windstorm drops half a cottonwood across the driveway. We handle both. Branches, limbs, hedge trimmings, bagged leaves, old mulch, broken patio furniture, rotted fencing and the pile behind the shed that's been composting since 2019 are all standard loads.

Branches over about four feet get cut down to loadable lengths, which is part of the job rather than something you need to prepare. Bagged material stays bagged so it doesn't scatter, and loose material gets loaded and tarped. Clean green waste is separated out for chipping or composting where the receiving facility accepts it, which keeps a meaningful share of the load out of the landfill.

Two limits worth knowing. Dirt, rock, gravel and concrete are handled as a separate heavy-material load because of weight, so mention them when you quote. Stumps that are still in the ground need a stump grinder rather than a hauler. If a storm brought down a limb that's leaning on a fence, a roof or a power line, don't touch it — call the utility first for anything near lines, and we'll take the debris once it's safely on the ground.

Yard & Storm Debris

Where Yard Waste Actually Goes

Green waste has its own path. Branches, shrub trimmings, leaves, and grass clippings go to facilities that compost them, which keeps the volume out of the landfill and turns it into mulch and soil. Sod, dirt, and rock are different — they're heavy, and they're priced by weight.

Storm cleanup is the busiest reason people call. Downed limbs, branches broken by a late snow, and a fence panel that came apart all end up in the same pile in the driveway. We load by hand, so a pile that would never fit in a truck bed is still one trip.

Fence panels, posts, and rails come down with the debris. If posts are set in concrete, we'll pull them and take the whole assembly — tell us roughly how many feet and we'll quote it right. Same for raised garden beds, trellises, and old landscaping timbers.

Sod, dirt, and gravel are quoted separately because of weight. One truck load of soil can weigh as much as several loads of branches, and knowing that up front keeps the number honest instead of surprising you at the end. A photo with something familiar in it for scale helps.

Seasonal volume along the Front Range is real: spring brings clippings and limbs, summer brings storm damage and dead trees, fall brings leaves by the bag. Booking early in the week tends to get you a shorter window, and we can meet you at the pile if you won't be home.

Nothing green gets mixed into a trash load if we can help it, and nothing hazardous goes in — no railroad ties, no paint or chemicals. Point at the pile and we'll tell you what we can take and where it ends up.

Questions

Yard Debris & Light Demo FAQ

What counts as yard debris?

Branches and brush, shrub and hedge clippings, leaves, grass clippings, sod, dirt and rock, old fencing, deck boards and shed tear-down material. If it came out of your yard, it's usually haulable.

Do you take dirt, sod and rock?

Yes, but they're heavy and priced by weight rather than by how much space they fill. Send photos and an estimate of the pile size for an accurate quote.

Can you tear down a shed or fence and haul it?

Yes — shed removal, fence removal and small deck dismantling are part of what we do. Send photos of the structure and we'll quote the teardown and the haul in one price.

Where does the green waste go?

To a composting facility where one is available rather than straight to the landfill. Lumber and metal are separated for recycling, and only treated or contaminated material goes to disposal.

Do you take bagged leaves and grass clippings?

Yes. Bagged or loose, we'll load it. Tell us roughly how many bags so the quote is accurate.
